Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept my insurance?

Our providers are in various stages of being credentialed with insurance companies. In our website's 'Our Therapists' section, you can find information on which insurance networks each provider is a part of. If your clinician is not yet in-network with your insurance, payment will be required at the time of service. You may request a superbill to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. However, we cannot guarantee if or how much they will reimburse you. Please contact your insurance provider to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first appointment is a chance for our clinician to get to know you. Together, you will complete a biopsychosocial assessment and begin creating a treatment plan. Since this process is centered around you, your input will be important throughout. The initial session typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. While this may sound lengthy, it is a straightforward process aimed at helping you leave with a plan that instills hope for positive change. Our clinicians are nonjudgmental and fully respect your right to make your own treatment decisions.

Why is it important to find a therapist that is a good fit for you?

It is essential to feel comfortable with your therapist. If you don't, it may be harder to be open and build trust during the process of making changes. We understand that finding the right fit is important, and we encourage you to decide if we're the best match for you. If at any point you feel a change in therapists is needed, we are here to help you find someone who better suits your needs.
