Her passion for nature and playfulness is evident in her approach. Kristin uses Bowen's Family Systems Theory as the foundation for her practice and emphasizes involving families in individual treatment when feasible. She is enthusiastic about meeting new clients and families, striving to instill hope in everyone she encounters. Kristin believes in the possibility of change and is committed to supporting you through this part of your life's journey.

Kristen Eddy, LMSW
Clinician
With over ten years of experience, Kristen has dedicated her career to supporting children and families across various settings, including schools and outpatient and inpatient mental health environments. While her primary focus has been on children and families, she is passionate about helping clients of all ages navigate life’s challenges.
Kristen’s therapeutic approach emphasizes the importance of identifying and building on one's strengths to resolve issues and enhance overall physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Kristen specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, which guides her practice.

Jennifer (Jenni) Viviano, LMSW
Therapist
As a therapist at Children and Family Counseling Services, Jenni brings over seven years of diverse experience in the mental health field, with a background in both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation settings. Since 2019, she has focused on supporting students in a school environment and is now excited to return to working with adults, individuals, couples, and families.
Jenni's approach to therapy is deeply rooted in a holistic philosophy that emphasizes empowerment and strength-based strategies. She believes in partnering with clients to understand and meet their unique needs, fostering an environment where they can thrive.
Jenni is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and trained in sex and couples therapy, cannabis use disorder, and working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples. Her extensive experience with children informs her practice, allowing her to bring a compassionate and playful perspective to her work with clients of all ages.
Jenni is passionate about creating a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and experiences. As she often says, “Be so completely yourself that everyone else feels safe to be themselves, too.” She looks forward to collaborating with clients on their journey to healing and personal growth.

Katie Bowers, LMSW
Therapist
Katie Bowers is a licensed master social worker who believes that our mindset, relationships, experiences, and larger societal systems shape our lives. When you work with Katie, you can expect to work collaboratively to understand your story and feel empowered to shape your future.
Katie utilizes several therapeutic modalities (such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy [ACT], Cognitive Behavioral Therapy [CBT], mindfulness, positive psychology, solution-focused, and person-centered) with psychoeducation to help clients develop their skills and systems to cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, and life transitions. Her therapeutic practice is informed by relational, psychodynamic, feminist, and queer theory. Katie has also worked as a community organizer for 10+ years. She can provide specialized support to those in leadership and social change positions looking to prevent and/or heal from burnout, stress, and secondary trauma.
Before becoming a social worker, Katie worked in outdoor education. She believes strongly in the healing benefits of being in nature and is happy to work with interested clients to incorporate that into their therapeutic journey.
Katie graduated from Hunter College with a Master of Social Work degree. During her training, she worked with young people who were organizing to improve their communities.

Lynn has worked for nearly thirty years in the fields of education, art, and healthcare, helping people see their strengths and recognize their own agency in life at any age. She believes in bringing compassion and curiosity into practice while treating every individual as whole - mind, body, and spirit. Her approach is integrative, using trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies with a focus on self-care and acceptance. Lynn will welcome you into a non-judgmental, affirmative, collaborative space where you can come as you are and feel safe. She meets clients where they are on their journey, fostering resilience and helping them develop strategies for growth and healing. Passionate about empowering clients to advocate for themselves and confidently navigate life's challenges, Erin is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and prepared to take meaningful steps toward positive change.
