Mia Cicoria-Timm, MSW Intern

Mia is pursuing her Master of Social Work at Binghamton University. She brings experience working with children and families in school settings, focusing on building strong community connections to support and empower clients. Mia values the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel heard and respected. She believes each person is the expert of their own experience and works collaboratively to support meaningful change aligned with the client’s goals.

Erin Swisher, MSW Intern
Intern
Erin is currently a second-year MSW student at Binghamton University, building on her diverse field experience. Her second internship follows a previous role at a Newark Valley Middle School, where she facilitated social-emotional learning lessons and provided one-on-one counseling for students. Before that, Erin worked with the Tioga County Safe Harbour Program, offering counseling and advocacy to children at risk of exploitation. Passionate about trauma-informed care, Erin takes a client-centered approach to support children of all ages. She loves incorporating play into her therapeutic practice, believing that every child—and person—has inherent strengths that can be harnessed throughout the healing process.

Carissa Tripp, MSW Intern

Carissa is a second-year student in the Master of Social Work program at Binghamton University. With over seven years of experience working with young children, Carissa is passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families of all ages. She previously interned with Adult Protective Services, where she supported vulnerable adults through challenging life transitions. Carissa brings empathy, openness, and authenticity to her work, creating a space where clients feel heard and supported. Her therapeutic approach is client-centered and strength-based, and she is genuinely committed to supporting you on your mental health journey.
