Vicki Bange, MSW Intern
Intern
"Vicki is a second‑year Master of Social Work student at Binghamton University with a deep commitment to helping individuals build resilience, clarity, and confidence during life’s most challenging transitions. She brings a unique blend of clinical training, international coaching experience, and more than two decades of leadership in the healthcare and insurance industries.
Vicki’s clinical experience includes supporting college students at Binghamton University as they navigate the complexities of emerging adulthood. Through case management and counseling, she helped students strengthen emotional regulation, develop practical coping skills, and build a foundation for long‑term well‑being.
As a certified life coach, Vicki has spent the past three years working with clients around the world. Her coaching style emphasizes self‑awareness, goal‑setting, recognizing limiting beliefs, and sustainable personal growth, empowering individuals to move forward with purpose and confidence.
Before transitioning into social work, Vicki spent more than twenty years in analytical and management roles within healthcare and insurance organizations. This background gives her a strong understanding of organizational systems, access barriers, and the real‑world challenges clients often face when seeking support.
Vicki’s practice is grounded in a strength‑based, trauma‑informed philosophy. She believes in a strong mind-body connection and views mental health as part of the whole person. She believes that resilience is a skill that can be learned and strengthened, and that every person brings something valuable and unique to the world. She incorporates mindfulness and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help clients stay present, process emotions effectively, and make thoughtful, values‑aligned decisions."
Vicki currently accepts clients on a sliding scale. Payment is due at the time of service.
