Our Interns

Erin Swisher, MSW Intern

Intern

Erin is currently a second-year MSW student at Binghamton University, building on her diverse field experience. Her second internship follows a previous role at a Newark Valley Middle School, where she facilitated social-emotional learning lessons and provided one-on-one counseling for students. Before that, Erin worked with the Tioga County Safe Harbour Program, offering counseling and advocacy to children at risk of exploitation. Passionate about trauma-informed care, Erin takes a client-centered approach to support children of all ages. She loves incorporating play into her therapeutic practice, believing that every child—and person—has inherent strengths that can be harnessed throughout the healing process.

Erin currently accepts clients on a sliding scale. Payment is due at the time of service.
